Directions: Register for the conference first by following the registration link below. Inside the registration form you will find different payment options. If you select the Self Payment option, you will be asked to follow a link that will bring you to this page in a separate window. Complete your payment using the PayPal button below. Once complete, PayPal will email you a receipt. Next return to the registration page and complete your registration. When the registration is submitted, you will receive an email with conference information including a map and release form for students.

ENGAGE - INSPIRE - EXCITE Middle School Girls in STEM Subjects and Career Pathways

The Women in STEM Conference is designed to inform and inspire middle school girls to become the next generation of scientists, engineers, mathematicians, and computer scientists. The conference is a collaborative effort, co-sponsored by the American Association of University Women (AAUW) Redding, CA Branch, Shasta College, and the Shasta County Office of Education.  Girls in 6th, 7th and 8th grades select four interactive, hands-on sessions presented by more than 20 professional women in STEM fields, designed to engage, empower and inspire them in STEM careers. 

Women in STEM Conference 2023 will be held March 18, 8:30 AM - 2:30 PM, at Shasta College, 11555 Old Oregon Trail, Redding, CA. 


Step 1: Download and review the list of STEM Pathway break-out sessions HERE. Select 4 STEM Pathway sessions and 2 alternates. 

Step 2: Follow the registration link below and follow the directions. You will receive a confirmation email that will include a schedule, links to download a Shasta College map and student release form.
